I’m a checklist kind of guy, so here’s some things to take action on.
- [ ] Let's rethink those old-school masculinity norms, shall we?
- [ ] It's cool to show feelings and ask for help when things get tough
- [ ] Start chit-chat about guys' mental health and question the outdated 'manly' ideas
- [ ] When things get rough, turn to your buddies, consider therapy or counseling, or do stuff that makes you feel good
- [ ] Understand how those traditional 'man up' ideas can mess with your mental health
- [ ] Self-care is key, don't hesitate to ask for help when things get too much
